RUGBY MATCH – ACPA

ARMENIAN COLLEGE & PHILANTHROPIC ACADEMY RUGBY TEAM

On the 3rd February, Armenian College & Philanthropic Academy organised some friendly Rugby matches for the U-11, U-13 & U-17 categories against Future Hope School. Both the teams played and behaved well and maintained a friendly atmosphere with each other.

The Armenian Ambassador to India H.E. Mr Armen Martirosyan along with Father Movses Sargsyan and Mr Sunil Sobti were present to support ACPA.

The match served a good experience to the young players and also helped to foster friendship and unity between the two competing teams. Big Thanks to Mr Armen Makarian and Mr Mukhtar Alam for organizing such an event.

Rugby is played almost everywhere in the world. There are less long-term injuries in rugby because the way a player tackles is a lot safer. Rugby is a physically demanding sport, and rugby players tend to be overall more physically fit. Rugby is also a much more friendly sport than many other sports because there is a strong sense of brotherhood that extends to the entire team, coaches and even former players who support the sport.
